Description

Yellow mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is a biennial wildflower featuring tall spikes of small, yellow flowers. In the first year, plants form a basal rosette of large, woolly, gray-green leaves. In the second year, the flowering stalk reaches 3–7 feet tall. Blooms from summer to fall.
