Description

Red cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) is an annual wildflower featuring frilly, double or semi-double flowers in a vibrant red to crimson shade. Plants have narrow, gray-green leaves on upright, branching stems. Reaches 1–2 feet tall. Blooms from late spring to early fall. The vivid red flowers add bold color to gardens and are excellent for cutting.
