Description

Bluewings wishbone flower (Torenia fournieri) is a charming annual known for its trumpet-shaped, two-lipped flowers in shades of blue, purple, and violet with a distinctive yellow spot on the lower lip. The common name "wishbone" comes from the two stamens that are initially fused, resembling a chicken wishbone. Plants reach 6–15 inches tall and are well-suited to shady locations. Seeds are very fine.
