Description

Scented geraniums are tender perennials grown for their fragrant leaves, which can smell like rose, lemon, mint, or other scents.

Soil & Temperature: Requires well-draining, moderately fertile soil (pH 6.0–7.0). Germination temperature 70–75°F (21–24°C).
Germination Time: 10–21 days.
Watering: Keep soil lightly moist during germination and early growth. Once established, allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. Scented geraniums prefer slightly drier conditions and may rot if overwatered.
Additional Tips: Pinch young plants to encourage bushy growth. Bring indoors before first frost; place in a sunny window. Reduce watering in winter. Leaf scent is strongest when plants are grown in full sun with some water stress.
