Description

Red wood avens (Geum coccineum) is a clump-forming perennial featuring bright red, semi-double flowers with yellow centers. Plants have hairy, scalloped basal leaves and slender, branching flower stems. Reaches 12–18 inches tall. Blooms from late spring to midsummer. Attractive to bees and butterflies.
