About this seed
Why gardeners choose this variety
Flowering plum brings attention to the garden when many plants are still resting. Blossoms appear on bare branches in the cool season, allowing each flower and the branching framework to stand out clearly. Fragrance adds another layer to its seasonal appeal.
Origins and character
In Chinese art and poetry, plum blossom is associated with resilience and the return of spring. Together with pine and bamboo, it forms the “Three Friends of Winter,” a group celebrated for endurance through cold weather.
In your home or garden
A courtyard, a position near an entrance or a view from a window can make the most of its early display. It also lends itself to long-term container training. Set the branches against a simple background so the flowers become the focus.
Seed pack options
Choose from 10 seeds, 40 seeds, 100 seeds. The selected option determines the quantity supplied. Seeds only; pots and live plants are not included.
