Red elegant clarkia (Clarkia unguiculata) is a tall, showy annual wildflower native to California. This variety features vibrant red, satiny flowers with four petals that flare open to form cup-shaped blooms. The flowers are strung along purple-red stems, blooming from the lower portion upward. Plants reach 34–40 inches tall.
