Description

Purple violet (Viola sororia) is a low-growing perennial wildflower native to eastern North America. It features heart-shaped, dark green leaves and delicate, five-petaled flowers in rich purple shades with white throats. Plants form spreading clumps and bloom in spring, with occasional rebloom in fall.
