Description

Oxeye sunflower (Heliopsis helianthoides), also known as false sunflower, is a native perennial wildflower found throughout eastern and central North America. Features bright yellow, daisy-like flowers with prominent yellow-orange centers. Sturdy stems and coarse, opposite leaves. Reaches 3–6 feet tall, blooms midsummer to early fall.
