About this seed

Why gardeners choose this variety

The light framework of a climbing clematis gives a garden a sense of movement without adding a solid wall of foliage. Leaves follow the support while flowers open in spaces between them, creating a changing pattern through the growing season. Seedling flower color and form vary.

Forest Wind seedlings can be trained onto a freestanding frame where their outlines are visible against the sky or a simple background. This approach highlights branching, leaf shape and the opening blooms. Provide room around the stems for air to circulate.
