About this seed

Why gardeners choose this variety

Clematis is part of the garden tradition of turning supports into flowering features. Crystal Fountain offers growers the chance to follow that process from seed, gradually developing stems and foliage into an ornamental climbing display.

An obelisk in a mixed border or a trellis behind a large container gives the plant a framework and lets flowers be viewed at different heights. Pair it with simple foliage so individual blooms remain easy to see. Seedlings may differ from the named parent, including petal arrangement, colour and growth habit; the exact fountain-like flower form is not guaranteed.
