Description

Black scabiosa (Scabiosa atropurpurea) is an annual or short-lived perennial featuring deep maroon to nearly black pincushion-like flowers. Flowers have a prominent central dome surrounded by ruffled petals. Plants have lance-shaped leaves on upright stems. Reaches 1–2 feet tall. Blooms from summer to fall.
