Description

Alpine sea holly (Eryngium alpinum) is a striking perennial featuring steel-blue, thistle-like flower heads surrounded by spiky, silvery-blue bracts. Plants have deeply lobed, spiny leaves. Reaches 1–2 feet tall. Blooms from summer to fall.
